Eeyores Birthday Party is a fund-raiser to benefit non-profit groups in Austin. Some of these groups will be selling hot and cold food (including vegetarian), soft drinks, juices, spring water, and Texas beer at the event. Look for commemorative Eeyore Birthday Party T-shirts.
Please wear a costume. There will be costume contests and other games with prizes for children of all ages.
Artists will be doing face painting and temporary tattoos.
Musicians playing non-amplified instruments are invited to play.
There will be Maypoles for the young and young at heart.
Come join us and wish Eeyore a Happy Birthday.
Parking is FREE at the state parking garage "E" and lot 3 on Colorado between 16th and 17th streets where our shuttle busses will pick you up and return you all day long!!!
Handicapped parking is also available at the same location, we have special needs busses chartered in our fleet for our shuttle service
The Capital Metro bus # 338 runs on Lamar and stops at Martin Luther King. It runs until 11:00pm. Capital Metro has informed me that they will be adding extra busses specifically for our event this year! Thanks Capital Metro!!
The Shoal Creek Hike and Bike Trail is a wonderful way to get to and from Pease District Park
NO bottles, cans, or coolers will be allowed in the park.
Please keep all dogs on leashes.
An ID will be required to buy alcoholic beverages.
